Inclusive Design advances accessibility, and encompasses the full range of human diversity including ability, language, culture, gender and age. Inclusive Design recognizes that we aren’t all the same. Design must be usable, flexible, and customizable among other qualities to be truly inclusive. From policies, customer service, infrastructure, technology, buildings to everyday products—we can design so that everyone can be accommodated and included.

The mission of the Accessible Rich Internet Applications Working Group (ARIA WG) is to develop technologies that enhance accessibility of web content for people with disabilities. This includes continued development of the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) suite of technologies and other technical specifications when needed to bridge known gaps.
Work on the WAI-ARIA 1.0 Primer has been discontinued and it should not be referenced or used as a basis for implementation. Important content has been moved to the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices.

Hating on assistive technology for trying to overcome accessibility obstacles like ‘data horseshoes’ in order to maintain sanity while remaining functional is one way they are able to identify and outline new market territory from a distance by keeping energy settings (💡⚙️) and data horseshoes/accessibility modules such as sleep (😴) set to OFF.
Oftentimes the need to advance 🔋 technology takes place at the expense of energy efficiency and personal health modules (like sleep) 😴
At the end of the day 😴 is an important accessibility module (and health context) for people who manage settings for assistive technology which is frequently placed under scrutiny by policy advocates. This is ☝️reason abandoning 🚢 is not an unfamiliar reference or metaphor for people who manage accessibility settings.

Appeal decisions are won by understanding how and why modal infrastructure is managed at the carrier level. My role as an interaction designer will always entail best practices in managing game design and pattern design methods for understanding modal infrastructure at both the carrier level and at the device level. This includes 508 accessibility standards for managing government responsible design for people with disabilities.
When we throw players into a virtual world without understanding the cascading outcomes of default human psychology, we are little better than an unethical mad scientist replicating Lord of the Flies.
Don’t just include people, involve them in a way that establishes their significance. Don’t just elicit participation from people, build community in a way that attributes value.
Aspen trees are modal clarity understandings for ‘relating to one another in good health’. To say that an interaction designer does not have ‘modal clarity’ when interaction design is ‘the art of managing modal infrastructure in a way that is simple to understand and easy to relate to‘ is to sabotage the persons reputation and ability to maintain and/or find new work which is a role I will never give anyone to have in my life.
If I quake when I write, that’s how I know I’m having an epiphany.
My genre research in art and music whether it be hyperreal, pop art, art nouveau, film noir, surrealist, hypersurrealist, DaDaist, existential, psychedelic or Macabre is for the purpose of being able to inform myself about future work contexts and bring new frameworks for understanding life contexts and life understanding into ‘future job contexts’. …because art imitates life and my ability to perform genre research will always be an important part of my work.
‘Application self-protection’ is the modal equivalent to ‘quaking while you write’.
Life insights are growth insights, and however much a person may enjoy ‘pretending not to speculate’ about what my insights may mean from a practical 🕴🏼. , it will never be their job to contextualize my insights based upon life perspectives or modal perspectives which places me into a category as having less ‘modal clarity’ than they do. I try to afford other engineers and project managers I’ve had the privilege of working with who manage modal infrastructure with the same level of respect (when I am given the opportunity).
When I write, I write so that the children will one day be able to look back on who I was in my own words since a lot of people seem to think it is their job to contextualise anything I say.
There is a time and a place to defend Fort Knox from State Troopers and another time to reminisce on fun, since each of us had a 👋🏻 in ‘building Fort Knox’ together, we feel entitled to describe the post we held in our own words. That can cause cognitive dissonance and mental separation at times.

While reflective analysis may be a “naive or incomplete form of reflection”, because it “forgets the pre-reflective experience of the 🌏🌍🌎 from which it sets out”, “hyper-reflection” is not a “violent act” to “stake our lives” upon. It is instead “a decision” to “understand the relationship” between ‘phenomenology’ and ‘non-phenomenology’ while permitting us to act upon ‘reflective’ and ‘pre-reflective states’.
By John Abbott’s standard, learning is a reflective activity that enables people to draw upon previous experience to understand and evaluate the present, so as to shape future action and formulate new knowledge.
Better competency models for doing business don’t just appear out of thin air, they are built by people with an appreciation for leadership effectiveness who have a willingness to recognize that startup life means taking bigger risks, making smaller strides while having a tenacity, support system and a budget to pivot on a dime.
Extraordinary leaders 👀 to themselves first for strength-building and are distinguished by the existence of strengths, (not the absence of weakness).
